VISION

The Journal of Defense, Security and Strategy Studies (CENK) aims to become a globally referenced, multilingual and multidisciplinary academic publication in defense, security and international strategy studies by rising on a Türkiye-centered intellectual ground. Our journal aims to make Türkiye's strategic wisdom visible both regionally and globally through original research that contributes not only to theory but also to decision-making processes. Prioritizing qualified, independent and ethical publishing in its field, CENK is on its way to becoming an academic brand by blending intellectual depth and national perspective.

MISSION

CENK is a publishing platform that encourages interdisciplinary and original academic production in the fields of defense policy, security studies, international relations, and strategy, prioritizes scientific quality with a double blind peer review system, and advocates equal access to information with an open access approach. Our journal's mission is to make an academic contribution to Türkiye's foreign policy and security architecture by providing rich and up-to-date content for academics, policy makers, defense industry representatives and research students. Each issue, published in Turkish and English, includes in-depth studies analyzing not only events but also concepts, strategies and paradigm shifts, thus bringing Türkiye's intellectual power to international academic platforms.
